Own Spooky Pinball's beautiful Scooby-Doo Pinball Machine and have trouble with your plunger not launching balls into play properly?  You are not alone.

The plunger Spooky chose for this is forked, normally not an issue; however, part of the assembly is left attached to nothing.  The slack allows the forks to shift during impact. They begin to misalign, widen, and cause the balls to stop launching into the play field properly. Slow-motion videos show the forks hitting balls unevenly despite being cranked up to full power.

The fork stabilizer covers both forks bringing them to the proper width and displacing impact onto the ball evenly. It makes up for the slack in the forks and keeps you playing. You should still reach out to spooky and obtain a new shooter assembly.

After a hundred games or more testing with this kit, the balls launch perfectly every single time.  I have not seen a single fail since the installation.  I recommend dialing the plunger power down between 60-80% after installation. 

Yes there are other stabilizers sold individually for far more money.  I don't see the need to use more expensive carbon fiber or have a massive fork cover when a more sleek design will suffice.  Custom made ABS plastic.

Commonly installed alongside general maintenance tools like the leveler and flipper gauge. Many Scooby-Doo owners also pick up TPU trays and corner protectors to protect their investment during adjustments.
